ArtCraft AI studio
- “ArtCraft AI” is the original ArtCraft product: an open-source desktop and web studio for generating AI images and video with more control than a text prompt.
- It is separate from the Crafting Apps (PhotoCraft, VectorCraft…). You do not need it, or any AI, to use those.
- Subscriptions and credits for the AI studio are how the project makes money.

Is ArtCraft AI good?
It is aimed at artists who want to compose a shot themselves — layout, posing, depth — and then have a model render it. Whether that suits you depends on your workflow; it can be tried in the browser without installing anything.
Do PhotoCraft and the other apps require AI credits?
No. The Crafting Apps are free. AI credits only apply to generative features.
Is the AI studio open source too?
Yes, the official site says the whole studio is on GitHub at storytold/artcraft.
